The Awana ministry began in Chicago, Illinois where it was officially organized in 1950. To date, there are over 1 million children who attend club programs in the United States. An additional 100,000-plus children participate in club programs internationally.

Awana Program
Time: Every Friday 7:20pm to 9:00pm
Content
Game time – unique games help attract children to come to Awana.
Handbook time – Scripture memory is emphasized; children are taught to apply Bible truth to daily living.
Council time – The Gospel message or a Bible story is presented.
Cubbies® celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3- to 5-year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word.
Grades K-2 This program takes boys and girls a step deeper into God's Word while presenting them with regular opportunities to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ.
Grades 3-5 Truth & Training's goal is to teach boys and girls the truth of God's Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives.
Grades 6-8 This new program challenges students to wrestle with the three most important questions they’re asking in middle school:
Who am I?
Why am I here?
Who’s with me?
Grades 9-12 This program establishes high school students as lifelong disciples through a deep study of God's Word, mobilizing them to live with godly perspective and evident faith.
